Ted Musgrave, driver of the No. 1 Mopar Dodge Ram, is ready to attack one of NASCAR's demanding tracks - Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway - on Wednesday.
"Last year we were really running away with it, and we got a flat tire. So we're going to try exactly the same setup to start with." said Musgrave "I'm looking forward to going to Bristol, but it’s a racetrack where if you do get in the middle of the pack, it’s a very tight racetrack and something could happen out of your control where you could get caught up in a wreck very easily, much like you see in the Busch or Cup races there at Bristol."
Last season, Musgrave set the track record in qualifying, lapping the .533-mile bullring at 123.562 mph. Musgrave dominated the early-going of the race until falling victim to a flat tire.
