Robert Huffman battled a tight handling Toyota Tundra throughout the O'Reilly 200 on Saturday. Huffman, who was the highest qualifying rookie, started in the 8th position and brought his No. 12 Toyota/White House Foods Tundra home 16th.
Huffman was disappointed with his 16th place finish at Memphis. "The truck was really loose at the start of the race so we made an early pit stop to adjust it, but after that it was tight the rest of the race. We made some wedge and air pressure adjustments on our pit stops, but it didn't seem to help us," said Huffman. "I was tight in and tight out of the turns, and while I'm not happy finishing 16th, I am glad that we brought it home in one piece.
Robert and the No. 12 Toyota/White House Foods Tundra return to the track on June 25, 2004, at the Milwaukee Mile when the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series returns to action in West Allis, WI. Live television coverage will be on Speed Channel, with radio coverage on the MRN Affiliates and XM Satellite Radio.
