Michael Waltrip quotes:
On Infineon 200 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway: “The opportunity to run the truck race on Friday night for Chevrolet with Sheryl Crow on the side of my little Silverado is quite an honor. They are kicking off their Chevy All Star program and we get to be the first one to race. I love Charlotte Motor Speedway. I’ve always run real well there. We are coming off a strong test with our little truck out in Chicago and all went well there. Enjoyed the opportunity to work with Randy Goss (#47 Axiom Silverado Crew Chief) and all the people folks from Chevrolet.
“It is going to be a big weekend for me. I am going to race the NEXTEL All-Star event on Saturday night and then Sunday take a ride up to Nazareth and compete in the NASCAR Busch series. I get to compete in all three major divisions on one weekend and that makes me happy. I like to race so when I am getting to race, is when things are the best for me. The type of equipment I will be in for all three events, we could win them all and that would be a big weekend for us and I am really looking forward to that.”
