Fiddle Back Racing team owner Tom Eldredge proudly announced today that he has tapped NASCAR veteran Todd Bodine in a one-race deal as the driver of his No. 67 Fiddle Back Racing Ford F-150 entry for this Friday's Infineon 200 at Lowes Motor Speedway.

"We're very excited to have Todd onboard with us this weekend," said Public Relations director and Marketing manager Brian Jones.  "He came highly recommended, and we feel that he has a great shot of putting this Fiddle Back Racing machine in victory lane."

Bodine, who pilots the No. 98 Lucas Oil Ford Taurus on the NEXTEL Cup circuit, hopes to make his sixth NCTS start this weekend.  The last time Todd competed on the truck tour occurred in 1995 behind the wheel of the No. 61 Roush Racing Performance Ford F-150 for Livonia Michigan's Roush Racing.

He entered five events in '95 with a career best starting position of second (outside pole) at Mesa Marin while! grabbing a career best fourth place position in his truck debut at Topeka.  Bodine has completed all 710 of the laps he ran that year, and in his short stint the worst finish he scored was eighth.

"I'm looking forward to returning to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series," said Todd Bodine. "Fiddle Back Racing is a new team this season, but they seem to have a great operation.  I have high hopes this weekend and would love to score my first victory in this series and for Fiddle Back Racing Friday night."

The team heads into the fifth event of the season looking for a primary sponsor.  "We're looking for a sponsor for this weekend," added Jones.  "We have a great team, a great driver, we're just missing one piece of the puzzle.  Sponsorship inquires for this weekend's event, along with the remainder of the year can contact Brian Jones of Fiddle Back Racing at 704-799-2667 or 980-521-4911

Fiddle Back Racing operated in Mooresville North Caroli! na has competed in three events this season.  The team has finished a seasons best 17th at Daytona with Steadman Marlin behind the wheel.  The team hopes to excel past that and score their first top-ten finish under the lights Friday.

Kevin Love, the team's normal driver had other prior commitments this weekend, but is expected to return to the driving duties in two weeks at Dover International Speedway.

The Infineon 200 is the fifth of 25 events on the 2004 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series schedule.  Practice and qualifying are on the agenda this Thursday, May 20th with the race set to take the green flag Friday night May 21st. The Speed channel will air the event live beginning at 8:30 PM EST, with MRN handling the airwaves starting at 8:15 PM EST.  The race will also be available via XM radio channel 144 starting at 8:15pm
