Infineon Technologies, the world's second-largest manufacturer of semiconductors used in vehicle electronics, has signed to sponsor the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race Friday night, May 21, at Lowe's Motor Speedway as part of the NASCAR NEXTEL All-Star weekend.

Sponsorship of the Infineon 200 is part of the company's long motorsports involvement. Through event and team sponsorships and its partnership with Infineon Raceway in Northern California, the company is successfully increasing name recognition and awareness among race fans and the general public.

Infineon's sponsorship also provides an opportunity to reinforce its commitment to support the community. Infineon is donating 1,000 Infineon 200 tickets to the YMCA of Greater Charlotte and the YMCA of the Triangle to provide a night of racing excitement for the constituents of these vital organizations.
