Jack Sprague quotes:
On Martinsville: “I am looking forward to the Martinsville race. We tested the #16 Chevy Trucks Silverado at Greenville and left very happy with the results. I feel like our short track program is right where it needs to be for this weekend.
I have several third place finishes at Martinsville. There is no doubt it is a driver's track but the key is to stay out of trouble. To do that, you have to qualify well so at the start of the race, you can run toward the front, get your truck sorted out and let everyone get settled down. Keeping a cool head is what you have to do to get to victory lane.
We haven't had the results we had hoped for so far this season but there are 23 races left in the run for the championship. We are well prepared for Martinsville. The guys are pumped up. They have been working on their pit stops. It is a team effort and we are all working toward the same goal. I think we have everything in place to get a win this weekend, we just need luck to ride with us as well. No matter what type of track it is, you have to have luck, some of it you make for yourself, other you have to put yourself in the right place at the right time to take advantage of a situation. Martinsville is definitely a place you have to be well prepared and get some luck to fall your way. This Chevy Trucks team has done our homework, it is up to us to make our own luck this weekend."
