Tracy Hines qualified the Menards Chevrolet Silverado in the 22nd position for Saturday's Easy Care 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Friday. Hines' lap of 31.535 seconds/175.805 miles per hour slots him outside the 11th row. This marks the second consecutive NCTS race that Hines has started from the 11th row; he started 21st at Daytona International Speedway in February. David Reutimann won the pole for the event with a lap of 30.894 seconds/179.452 miles per hour.

"We have really worked on some chassis stuff since we tested at Charlotte last week," Hines said. "We are really getting close. I think we are an adjustment or two away from being right where we want it to be. The good thing is we are now within that range, which is as close as we have been since we left Charlotte."

In Friday's final practice, Hines turned a 31.581 second/175.549 mile per hour lap, which left him seventh in the final rundown in race trim. Bobby Hamilton led the final hour of practice with a 30.924 second/179.284 mile per hour lap.

A veteran of hundreds of racetracks all across the country, Hines will make his first ever start at Atlanta Motor Speedway when the green flag falls on the 134-lap event shortly after 1 pm ET on Saturday. The event will be televised live on Speed Channel, and can he heard live on MRN Radio affiliates and XM Satellite Radio nationwide.
